Stainless Steel Fermentation, Sur-lie. Tropical seaside fruit fill the nose with ripe banana, pineapple and guava nectar. Crisp acidity and clean minerality make this a perfect pairing for oysters on the half shell. Yes please!

Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the August 2010 issue. Solidly focused on proper varietal currants and filled out with a nice complement of rich oak, this nicely stuffed wine sports a good sense of fruity depth and shows the muscle and spine that young Cabernet should. It is presently limited by ample tannins and somewhat pushy acidity, but its flavors persist at the finish, and it has the pieces in place to grow into comfortable maturity some five or six years hence.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Cellar for future drinking. Wine will improve with bottle aging.
