Merriam Vineyards Cabernet Franc Dry Creek Valley Jones Vineyard 2005

Member Review by carey1:

If your a Franc Fan like me, this is a rare, good find. Farmed by third generation Ray Teldechi, these 18 year old vines are some of the oldest in Sonoma county. Dark ruby red color with hints of violets and raspberry in the nose. Tantalizing cherry, spice and sweetwood hit the mid palate like velvet and then give way to a lingering mocha finish. Perfect with chocolate!
