"Block 21" refers to a hillside vineyard block owned by T. R. Passalacqua Vineyards in the heart of Dry Creek. It is a nicely balanced, rich, chewy Dry Creek Cabernet with a classic California Cabernet profile. You don't have to search hard for the flavors in this forward, dark-currant and berry-flavored wine that also shows some dried-rose-like floral notes. Mouth-filling richness and long finish. Excellent wine that's ready to drink, from a winery off of Los Amigos Road just north of Windsor.
