Merlot Friuli Grave Due Torri 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

The Merlot vine of St. Emilion and Pomerol was introduced to Italy in 1880 by Senator Pecile. Today, Grave del Friuli is the Merlot capital of Italy and the home of Due Torri Merlot. This wine is a fragrant, fruity, dry wine that will develop for 2-3 years. Due Torri Merlot draws its character from the rocky, hilly vineyard sites where it yields less fruit, but higher quality.
