Bitter, watery, afraid it could be from two bad bottles, but TWO? And it wasn't disgusting. Just very unpleasant. The nose almost suggests fortification, but not the palette. Note this Meridian wine is a product of Italy, not their Napa vineyards. Italian pinot? This one leaves a lot to be desired

Tastes of leather, smoke, berry and maple, there was also a hint of spice and pepper. It was an inexpensive wine, and pairs well with food.

A full body red, smooth, well rounded and good finish. I tried it with grilled chicken gizzards and it was excellent. This wine is fun to drink.

The Central Coast Pinot Noir exudes the classic hallmarks of Pinot Noir: beguiling aromas of cherry candy with hints of strawberry, roses and violets. It displays a subtle nuance of black tea and earth with a dash of vanilla oak spice. The flavor profile is elegant and medium-bodied with a velvety texture. Its complex flavors are juicy and mouth-filling, mirroring the aromas, including cherry, fig fruit and cola. It caresses the palate with slightly firm tannins and a long finish.

Lots to like in this everyday wine, with its strawberry, spice, beet and cola flavors and dry, silky-smooth mouthfeel. The tannins are light and airy. It has enough body and flavor to stand up to rich foods, yet maintains delicacy and elegance.

Wine Tasting NotesIs there a wine more seductive than Pinot Noir? It arouses the senses like almost no other. A study in contrasts, this wine is at once demure yet charismatic. A medium-bodied Pinot with flavors of herb and cherry over well-integrated toasty oak notes.
