The wine is fermented and aged in natural cement tanks imported from France, allowing for this varietals clean aromas to shine bright. This wine sees no wood, helping to maintain the bright fruit characters and minerality produced from the Chardonnay grapes.Mineral driven nose with citrus shining through. Cement tank fermentation and aging bring out aromas remindful of the first rain of the season or a wet rock. Soft and round entry with an acid backbone informs you these grapes are grown in a cooler climate. Mid palate reveals ripe fruit such as lemons, gooseberry and grapefruit. Finishes dry while the acid comes and goes in a balanced fashion. Laser sharp minerality carries through from start to finish on both palate and aroma. - Winery

Zesty, with racy, mouthwatering citrus, pineapple and green apple fruit thatrsquo;s pure and focused. Ends with lively acidity. Drink now through 2016.
This elegant Chardonnay sees no oak contact whatsoever. None. Zippo. Nada. Instead, it displays a Chablis-like minerality driven by green apple and citrus notes and a powerful mouthfeel. Sleek and refined, the body is crisp and the finish provides a jolt of acidity. If yoursquo;re wondering about the ceramic bottle, it is meant to evoke the cement tanks used during fermentation, but wersquo;ve heard it also doubles as a nice vase for flowers. Once the wine is gone, of course.

Color of light straw. Vivid aromas display baking spice, butterscotch and and freshly-cut hay. Light viscosity and mild acidity wrap around a palate accented by Chablis-like texture with a hint of stone and mineral, while the back palate is elegant,... Jim Collins. Winemaker's Notes:
Light gold color with a pale green tint. Clean, lively aromas of honeydew melon and green apple carry over to delicate tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and papaya, balanced with crisp mineral notes. The full texture lasts through a luxuriously long finish. The ceramic bottles are meant to reflect the cement vessels the winery uses when fermenting and aging Silver Chardonnay.
