This warm, southerly red from Calabria has remarkable freshness and vibrance. On the nose, the wine gives ripe strawberry notes with a distinctly herbal quality reminiscent tomato or oregano. With tangy tannins, and hints of chocolate on the finish, the bottle brings plenty of complexity to the table.
