There's cherry and licorice on the nose of this crisp, lighter-style wine. Bright, tart fruit and cocoa accents follow on the palate, and it's bright and moderately tannic on the finish. A good pizza-pasta partner, this will even out over the next 12 months and drink well through 2004.
