Typically grapey on the nose with a touch of earth and spice.. This enters the mouth with a sweet burst of blackberry and black cherry fruit that is supported by zesty acidity and just a hint of tannin. The mid-palate has that lovely bit of contrasting bitterness and leads to a fine wash of grapey acid on the finish. Bring on the Salame! 86pts

Add your reviewThis is a wine that I got into after having it a favorite italian restaurant of mine. It's definitely something to have with food with really strong flavors and skews more towards the salty or oily side. I really enjoy having it with a cheese plate during the holidays. Overall it should be drunk in moderation as after awhile it gets pretty one note, but drink it every once in awhile and its fantastic!

Lightly sparkling with aromas of cassis, black pepper and black cherries. Dry with just the right amount of sparkle and even tannin to lend itself to meat or cheese antipasti.
