Mcwilliams Shiraz 2010

External Review by CityWineCellar.com:

Vineyards in several of Southeast Australias most prestigious growing regions contributed components for this wine a masterful blending of abundant fruit and layers of interest. See if you can pick out the highlights from the "terra rossa" of Coonawarra, or that nice round fruit from Hilltops. All present, all in balance.Crimson-purple, the way Shiraz should be. Aromas of plum, forest berries and licorice. A floor of vanilla and mocha flavors from conditioning on toasted oak.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Crimson red with purple hues. Aromas: Dark black fruit aromas of plum combine with spice and vanillin oak. Flavors: The supple yet generous palate is dominated by rich, plum and raspberry fruit flavors with hints of spice and vanilla.
