Mcprice Myers Altas Vinas 2009
Winemaker's Notes:
Altas Vinas: "Alta Mesa Vineyard sits 3,200 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest elevation vineyards in the US. Huge temperature differentials produce fruit that is fermented into this vibrant wine." - Winery Winemaker: McPrice "Mac" Myers "Mac got into food and wine during his early twenties via his friends and coworkers at Trader Joe's in Southern California. He soon began taking trips up to the Central Coast to just to taste, but quickly found himself volunteering his time on his days off to help out at a number of wineries. After learning the process for a few years and spending more and more time on the Central Coast, Mac was ready to start making wine for himself." - Winery This was also scored 89 points in the Wine Spectator.

A Proprietary Blend wine from California in USA. 2009 McPrice Myers Altas Vinas 750ml

Aromas of plum compote lead to cherry kirsch-like flavors in this intense and firmly tannic red. Shows a raw edge, crushed rock notes and some heat on the finish. Needs time. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Best from 2013 through 2021. -JL Wine Spectator. A Proprietary Blend wine from California in USA. 2009 McPrice Myers Altas Vinas 750ml
