Mcnab Ridge Zinfandel Mendocino County 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

Gold medal winner - 2007 North of the Bay wine competition When it comes to great Zinfandel, there is nothing better than a Zin made from steep, hillside vineyards. The fruit is naturally concentrated and distinct. This first release from the estate vineyards is nothing short of fantastic. The aroma is loaded with raspberry, blackberry and dark cherry. On the palate the wine reveals its volcanic origin with undercurrents of complex minerals. A wild mixture of spices, oak and berries play throughout this wine culminating in a dynamic black pepper finish.
