Rich, luscious, deep concentrated flavors, smooth lingering finish. Outstanding, donrsquo;t miss this!
Soft and fleshy, with ripe tannins, complex flavors of blackberry and cherry, and just a touch of cedar and smoke. This red screams for black pepper-crusted pork loin.
Well-integrated coconut and cedar flavors pick up a hint of ripe wild berry and black cherry. Fruit intensity lingers, along with soft tannin and coconut on the finish. An inexpensive bottle of Californiarsquo;s up-and-coming varietal. Drink now through 2005.
The black cherry and black raspberry flavors are fruity and ripe, and have an edge of smoky tobacco and white pepper. Although itrsquo;s easy to drink now, the tannins are finely etched. Delicious with duck with a dark fruit sauce.
Herersquo;s a fresh, delicious Syrah for drinking now. Itrsquo;s lush and smooth in black raspberry and cherry pureacute;e, fennel, beef jerky and black pepper flavors, backed up with a juicy hit of acidity.
The 2003 Syrah reveals notions of smoke, bacon fat, and cassis, along with medium body, soft tannin, and a compact, but pleasant finish. It is best consumed over the next 1ndash;2 years.
The 2008 McManis Family Vineyards Syrah is dark purple in color. Blackberry, Blueberry, Maple Syrup and Chocolate are accompanied by hints of smoky meat and the slightest bit of earth. On the palate, the wine is round and filled with flavors of mixed berries. The smoke and earth promised on the nose are evident and meld with the dark berry fruit in the finish.
