Mcmanis Family Vineyards Merlot California 2009
Deep garnet in color with bright youthful hues, the 2009 Merlot has bright bold aromas of Blackberry and Boysenberry. These aromatic notes marry with hints of Hazelnut, contributed from oak aging. In the mouth, flavors of Blueberry and Raspberry are joined with wisps of Anise. Mocha notes become evident as the smooth, viscous wine finishes.

I challenge you to find a merlot with more round, full, expressive and fruit-forward pizzazz than this 2003 Merlot! McManis has turned out a full-bodied, jammy, and approachable red with great red berry aromatics and a solid finish. Enjoy.
Authenticly-styled Merlot from a consistently good producer. Smooth, lush and velvety mouthfeel, deep berry fruits and a pretty lengthy finish. Find out why Merlot continues to be America's sweetheart!
Dark, dry and fruity, this Merlot is a little heavy and simple, but has a tasty array of blackberries, black cherries, plums, pomegranates and savory spices. Nice everyday red, with a bit of fanciness.
This label continues the value game with another rich, flavorful wine at an everyday price. It floods the mouth with juicy, sweet flavors of cherries and blackberries, with a round, opulent texture. Buy this beauty by the case, not the bottle.
Concentrated and youthful, with chunky blackberry, cherry and plum tones, highlighted by generous toasty oak and modest tannins. Drink now through 2006.
Smells and tastes like a decent inexpensive Cabernet, with black-currant flavors and soft, easy tannins. It's also soft in acids, but the flavors are pretty and the wine is pleasant to sip.
Fresh cherry and red berry fruits, hint of chocolate, silky oak finish.
