Mcmanis Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon California 2009
The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is purple-red in color, with a bright hue. The nose is filled with mocha, chocolate, and caramel - contributed from oak aging. Blackberry and Blueberry fruit is also evident. The round creamy mouthfeel is accompanied by red and black berry fruit flavors. The finish is a long pleasant combination of fruit and oak.
Sweet, dark fruit aroma. A little spicy, not very hot and barely tannic at all. A nice sipping wine.
Jammy raspberry flavors. Light acidity producing a balanced wine with minimal tannins.
for 10 bucks its a decent wine. But you really could do better. medium bodied and light color. nose is okay. there are many other wines better for this price range. pass.
For $7.99 - I kept my expectations LOW....it was recommended by the Wine-guy at Chambers Liquors. Not too acidic, smooth, a bit fruity - but not too much...I think it's a great option for $7.99

According to the Wine Enthusiast: A nice Cab for the price due to the full-bodied richness and ripe fruity flavor. It's big in blackberry jam and spices, with a coating of smoky oak. Easy to find, with 115,000 cases produced.
A perennial customer favorite - and it's not hard to see why! Super-soft, amazingly easy to drink and yet packed with luscious blackberry and cassis flavors. Silky, smooth tannins round out the lingering, dry finish. All of this for under $10? No wonder it flies out of here!
A seductive red composed of complex layers of sweet cassis, ripe black cherry, mocha, roasted chestnuts, and brown sugar spice aromatics. In the mouth, rich, sensuous fruit and benevolent tannins exude the winersquo;s friendly personality.
Pretty good for a ten buck red, this has proper varietal flavors of blackberries, cherries and oak, and is fullbodied and tannic. There's a rustic edge, but it will do fine with roast chicken or even macaroni and cheese.
An always-dependable Cabernet that delivers fresh flavors of black currant and blackberry, blanketed by shavings of milk chocolate and toffee.
The medium ruby-hued 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a lovely nose of red currants and cherries, soft tannin, and fine purity as well as ripeness. It is an attractive red for casual quaffing. Enjoy it over the next 1ndash;3 years.
