Bright, red berry fruit is fresh and lively here, with enough oak to add a nice vanillin creaminess to the spectrum of flavors on offer. The tannins are soft, though present, and there is enough acidity to prop up the rounded fruitiness. And, best of all, it actually tastes like a Cab and not like some innocuous red called ldquo;Cabernet Sauvingnonrdquo; for lack of a better word.
A seductive red composed of complex layers of sweet cassis, ripe black cherry, mocha, roasted chestnuts, and brown sugar spice aromatics. In the mouth, rich, sensuous fruit and benevolent tannins exude the winersquo;s friendly personality.
Supple and full of life, this Cab has a little bit of everything to offer. Lush, dark cherries and bright, zesty cassis give this wine some jazz. Subdued spice with hints of a well-made cafeacute; mocha give it balance and rounded mouthfeel. On the finish, soft oak and a toasty smoke complete this wonderful and intriguing wine.
