Winemaker's Notes:

Located in the benchlands in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, this traditionally head-trained vineyard, meticulously farmed by the Sullivan Family, produces robust, richly textured and fruit-forward Zinfandel. The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with native yeast in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine was aged for 15 months in French oak barrels and bottled unfined.

These valleys are renowned for producing superior quality fruit. Mazzocoo winery is nestled in the rolling hills of Sonoma County, perched on a saddle between the acclaimed valleys of Dry Creek and Alexander. In 2005, Mazzocco was brought into the Wilson family, who were eager to add the Zinfandel vines surrounding the winery. Renown for its single vineyard-designate Zinfandels—wines so robust and sumptuous, they’re unforgettable.
