Food Pairings for Mazzocco Zinfandel Alexander Valley Stone Ranch
This Zinfandel is made from traditionally farmed grapes on the Stone Ranch in Alexander Valley, from old-vine cuttings. The resulting wine represents a classic warm-climate Zinfandel, demonstrating rich fruit-forward flavors with a firmly structured core. The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with native yeast in stainless steel tanks. Bottled unfined.
Fragrances of blackberry and lush ripe fruit greet the nose while a core of rich raspberry and currant jam flavors with hints of mineral entice the mouth. This Alexander Valley Zinfandel is boldly textured with creamy tannins leading to a seamless finish with hints of dark chocolate bark and traces of sweet vanilla.
