Mazzocoo winery is nestled in the rolling hills of Sonoma County, perched on a saddle between the acclaimed valleys of Dry Creek and Alexander. In 2005, Mazzocco was brought into the Wilson family, who were eager to add the Zinfandel vines surrounding the winery. Fragrances of blackberry and lush ripe fruit greet the nose while a core of rich raspberry and currant jam flavors with hints of mineral entice the mouth. This Alexander Valley Zinfandel is boldly textured with creamy tannins leading to a seamless finish with hints of dark chocolate bark and traces of sweet vanilla.
