When a modest 10 acres of Certified Organic Sangiovese is dry-farmed in pure solitude on an 1,800’ peak atop the rugged Mendocino hills, the results are anything but typical. When the vineyard belongs to third-generation winegrowers Ben and Jacob Fetzer, they’re downright impressive. While many producers “bleed” rosé off their red wine out of convenience, we dedicate an early harvest for ours – preserving lively acidity and delicate aromatics. Hand-picked one cluster at a time and patiently crafted as only the smallest lots will allow, our 2009 Masut Vineyard Rosato is best enjoyed with food, family and friends.
Maysie Cellars is a boutique winery dedicated to limited production Sangiovese from Certified Organic and sustainably farmed vineyards in Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
