Alicante Bouchet is unique becasue its juice is actually red, not clear like all other red grapes. The Cloud 9 Vineyard is located right in the middle of the Russina River Valley. It is an area we love to make wine from because of its hot days and cool nights. We love to drink this wine with rich pasta dishes and grilled meats. But, we must admit it is also fun to look at this wine in a glass and admire the "Noir de Noirs" or the "Blackest of the Black" that is the Alicante Bouchet.
