Very floral on the nose with a precise core of lightly smoky raspberry fruit backed up with a touch of buttery oak, wild blueberries and herbs. In the mouth the tannins here are super-fine giving the wine a lovely density. The flavors are sharp with notes of wild raspberry, wild cherry and tobacco. This retains an elegant feel with lovely purity and finishes with herb and peppery spice tones on the moderately long finish. 91pts
