Mauro Veglio Barbera d'Alba 2014
Member Review by EMark:
Strange wine. Moldy nose. (May be corked.) Very unusual mouthfeel—seems weighty. Very dulled flavor of dried fruit. Then, some saltiness. (?) Lots of tart acidity like I might expect from a Chianti, but more a fuller body than a Chianti. It will be easy to pass up on this wine the next time I see it on a store shelf.
