A seriously toasty, buttery, full-bodied champagne. At the price I paid in Epernay (Champagne) it was a good value. Not a terribly complex champagne but a lovely food wine!
Like every year i spend 2 or 3 days tasting Champagne, and every year i visit Maurice Vesselle winery, and when we taste his Chamagnes we from the cuvee to the 1976 we always found the same style, "serius" this is the word to describe it, Pinot Noir it's the magic wand that allows to have an intense Champagne like This...
