Aromas of violets and cloves with dense blackberry, Bing cherry and cranberry. Bright cherry and chocolate, clove, mint and firm tannins are prominent on the entry. The lingering finish is a rich blend of cherry truffles, cedar and spice.

Winemaker's Notes:

Matchbook Cabernet has layered aromas of violets and cloves with dense blackberry, Bing cherry and cranberry. Bright cherry and chocolate, clove, mint and firm tannins are prominent on the entry. The lingering finish is a rich blend of cherry truffles, cedar and spice. This full-bodied red wine has loads of chewy chocolaty tannins, but with very elegant aromas of violets – a wonderfully impressive combination. Pair this wine with red meat like a pepper crusted seared rib eye.
