The finished wine is brilliant golden straw in color with a nose marked with ripe melon and floral aromas with accents of vanilla and cut grass. In the mouth, the wine is complex with layers of pineapple, citrus, fig and apricot framed with lingering... "

The only bottle in the clearance stack retaining a yellow, unbrowned hue. Smells like cold roast turkey haha. Good minerality and salinity remain on the nose. Light citrus and melon. On the palate, bubblegum quality up front. Juicy mouth watering acidity remains. Guava, papaya, mango and other exotic fruits leaning into lychee. Grapefruit pith and melon notes. Taking on a Marsanne quality. This one lucked out and has aged very nicely for a Sonoma white wine. Good salinity and a balanced palate and nice mouthfeel. Drank 11/8/12 89 pts.
