Offers spicy pear and apple flavors on a medium body, with robust accents of lemon zest, grapefruit and nectarine. Spicy and juicy on the finish. Drink now.

The 2011 Sauvignon Blanc Sonoma County is a seriously beautiful wine made in a style that showcases the greener grassier side of Sauvignon but with a touch more depth than is often found in wines made in this style. The addition of 13% Sauvignon Musque clone and 8% Semillon gives the wine much of its aromatic presence. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2016. -Antonio Galloni Robert Parkers Wine Advocate.

The nose has an intensely perfumed fresh bouquet of pink grapefruit and lemon cream combined with energetic spice notes underlined by invigorating minerality. Emulating the nose, the palate of crisp citrus and melon flavor carries a hint of dry white herb accompanied by a soft, round mouth feel resulting in a medium bodied, fresh, food-friendly wine.

This tastes like a slightly sweet lemon-, orange- and mango-juice drink, with lots of citrusy acidity and a pleasant burn of alcohol. Delicious and savory, it will be a good companion to Asian fare.
