What to Expect

Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.

Winemakers Notes

`This hits the pure passionfruit flavor of finely ripened Sauvignon. It's mouthwatering and firm structured with umami flavors of oyster mushrooms and marrow to balance the fruit. A portion of the blend is Sauvignon Musque (13%) and a portion is fermented and aged in French oak barrels (21%). The result is delicious with roast fish.` 93 Points Wine and Spirits.

Light, but very fresh aromas of tropical fruits. The flavors are very clean, ever so lightly oaked, with nice fresh acidity balanced by a good tropical fruit backbone.

Bright fresh wine with grassy and citrus notes. Good acid as expected from a sauvignon blanc and proves that a good sauvignon blanc can come from Sonoma County.

A blend of 87% Sauvignon Blanc and 13 Sauvignon Musque. Mother Nature was very kind in 2007. Not too warm, yet warm enough for the grape to flourish. These perfect growing conditions allowed for a long growing season resulting in optimal ripeness. Preserving the aromatics of this grape throughout the winemaking process is challenging, but we are able to continue to craft a truly refined Sauvignon Blanc rich with character.
