The background has distinct notes of plum, bitter cherry, strawberry jam, black pepper Serving temperature 18°C Food affinities A fine accompaniment to roast meats and larger game (deer, wild boar, etc.), spiced dishes or truffle, and mature cheese Notes In the two thousand year history of the Aglianico grape, Taurasi, the wine of the ‘vigne opime’ of old Taurasia mentioned by Livy, has a special place.
