A very crisp, clean white from the hills of Mt. Vesuvius. Difficult to find, but well worth the effort to try it. Originally tried this in the region of Italy that produces it and fell in love with it. Returned home and just had to track it down locally.
Pungent oily and mineral nose, the wine is flat yet concentrated. Its a little old (2005 vintage) and the wine is becoming madirized. There are traces of stone fruits behind a rich emollient mouthfeel and a mineral finish. Not for me

Light and subtle. Floral aromas with nut and citrus flavors. Mineraly and smooth, luxurious and refined. Not your typical Italian white, but a must try. Enjoy with fish or very light poultry.
A distinctive, unusual and full-bodied white, with smoky, mineral-like flavors and a smooth texture. Worth a try.
Here's an extremely well-made Italian white that's a dead-ringer for Riesling, with honey, mineral and piecrust aromas and flavors. It's medium-bodied, with lots of fruit and a flavorful finish. Drink now.
While a lot of New World wines scream fruit! and oak!, this stunning and subtle Italian white offers a delicate whisper of floral aromas mingled with almond and tangerine notes. The flavors are likewise gentle and delicate with peach and citrus balanced by mineral tones. A wine with great elegance and finesse.
Greenish straw. Moderately full-bodied. Moderate acidity. Medium fruit. Herbs, melon, citrus zest. Nicely concentrated fruit with the weight to stand up to rich foods. Juicy acidity maintains fine balance in this sophisticated wine.
Lots of ripe and delicious fruit in this wine. Lovely aromas of peaches, almonds, petrol and fruit. Medium- to full-bodied, with fresh acidity and a lively finish. Drink now.
A pleasant white with pineapple, honey and apple character. Medium body, medium acidity and a clean finish. Made from Coda di Volpe. Drink now.
