Slight scent of violets...
Ornellaia has been quite a discovery. The bouquet was something amazing, in which I could feel hints of saffron which are really something new to me in wine. The palate matches the nose, with a complexity which is really rare anywhere.

Dunkles Purpurrot. Konzentriert die Nase. tiefgründig, Frucht kombiniert mit Kokos/Schokoladen-Aromen. Sehr satt, druckvoll und fruchtig am Gaumen. Der finessenreiche Wein zeigt sich bereits mit geschmeidigen Tanninen, herrlicher Länge mit viel Rückaromatik nach Cassis und noblem Eichholz.
