Light reddish purple, paling at rim. Clean medium intense nose of allspice, clove, smoke, anise and with cherry/ red berry fruit. Very nice hard to keep nose out of glass. Soft on the palate with light tannin, medium high acidity, and a short finish. Alcohol is noticeable but not intrusive. Nice sour cherry, raspberry flavors with a little pepper. Very light body for the most part probably wonderful with a little red sause or even grilled pork. [NR]
