Plum on the nose, with a bit of herbal/medicinal spice and pepper on the palate.
Deep velvety red color, strong bouquet, smells of dark cherries, currant, and spices. Also, spicy on the tongue, dried, medium body, well balanced.
I'm sorry to say I'm not a wine drinker and I don't drink wine very often, but my husband does. I will have a glass of wine when we can open a bottle of Masseria Cavalo Negroamaro 2009. I love this wine. It is so smooth. I don't know how to describe wine in a colorful and provocative manner, but it is really good!!
