One of my favorite vintages among the Gold Reserve bottles. The look is shiny cherry. The nose is very fresh with some chalks and hints of bell pepper. The tannins along with black fruits aromas keep on coming without drying out your mouth. Wonderful now or during the coming up 7 years. Better to decant the wine

Made in a more modern style in the heart of the Bekka Valley, with a palette of<br/>familiar grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo,<br/>Mourvèdre, the 2007 is a triumph of endeavour. The wine's aromas<br/>are rich yet very elegant with morello cherry, cassis and spice to the fore. On<br/>the palate it is concentrated and ripe, with plenty of perfumed, parma-violet<br/>character, fine tannins and an excellent length. Tasted blind, one would<br/>probably identify a relatively warm provenace, but the structure is such that<br/>one would never imagine anything quite this far South. <br/>(Simon Field MW, BBR Buyer)
