Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.

2006 Mason Cellars Pomelo Sauvignon Blanc Inviting citrus, pineapple aroma that lingers seductively. A full, round, refreshing mouthful of grapefruit and figs. This wine is creamy and rich while being crisp and complex. A great wine to pair with spicy Asian faire, raw oysters, seafood and cheese. "Randy Mason is one of the best Sauvignon producers in California." - Wine Spectator Definition: Pomelo / pom-e-lo (pom'elo) Giant citrus fruit native to Malaysia and thought to be ancestor to the grapefruit. Similar to the 2005 with a little less sweetness on the attack. Lots of grapefruit, clean flavors, crisp finish. Recommended. Great QPR.
