The 2000 Montepulciano drsquo;Abruzzo Marina Cvetic confirms the promise of this vintage in its deep ruby color, jammy plum and wild cherry fruit nose, and rich, caramel and vanilla laced flavors, and its broad, deep, well sustained finish. A tight and firm wine, with coffee, tobacco and light raisin character. Medium-bodeid, with good fruit, but slightly hard on the finish.
