Celler Mas la Mola is a winery in Poboleda in the Priorat region of Spain, founded by the Ferrando family in 1860. Jordi Masdeu Catala and Alessandro Marchesan have continued that family tradition to produce wines that are indicative of classic Priorat styles. The 7 hectare property grows old vine Garnacha, Carinena, Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo, produced in the boutique winery that has been operating for more than 150 years.
Gorgeous expression of Priorat. Dark berries and plums with balanced minerality, warm, earthy flavors, a little cocoa, black olive and espresso. Was very sad to finish this bottle.
