Mas Jullien Rouge Coteaux de Languedoc Bottle 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Berry Bros & Rudd review: BBR were proud to be amongst the fist to 'recognise' the full
magnificent potential of the Terrasses du Larzac, and now import La
Pièra and Mas Conscience as UK agents in addition to working with Plan
De L'Om and of course, the nearby Mas de Daumas Gassac. And yet why stop
there? If there is a great wine, there is a lot to get excited about and an
overwhelming temptation to make a purchase!

Mas Julien is such a wine. Its 15 hectares were developed by Olivier Julien in
1985. It is located in Jonquières amidst the rocky terraces of the
plateau (if that doesn't sound too contradictory) ,itself situated 40 km
to the north of Montpellier. The terroir is divided between the argilo and the
calcaire (clay and the limestone); the wines themselves come from Syrah,
Mourvèdre and Carignan, vinified by parcel and aged for around 18 mon
