80% Syrah and 20% Grenache 90 RP - and I agree! Aromas had to be sniffed out with effort, but has nice hints of crushed strawberries. Nice forward fruit of blackberries and plum, some spicy black pepper on the back pallette. Definitely some more in there that I cannot pinpoint. Medium to full bodied, medium in tannicity. Nice finish, noticeable heat. This has 14.5% alcohol, and the heat makes you feel it. The wine travels smoothly though. Its a though-provoking wine that is better served with a sit down dinner.
