I just tasted this wine today up here in Seattle and, as usual with this producer, the wine is both rich and powerful while remaining elegant and graceful..From start to finish(which BTW lasts for a good minute) this wine never lets you down. The flavors skip along happily as the summer ripened cherry and blackberry flavors as well as well as those lovely provencial weeds we call lavender and rosemary, remind you of delicious childhood memories.. If in fact you can get this wine for this advertised price of $15 bucks..well....the DUH...grab as many as you find..A great producer, a great pedigree, a great vintage..wow, a great deal for sure...

Boislauzon has had a string of hits for us, and we have made no secret of our love of this Domaine. The 2010 Chateauneuf-Du-Pape is a showstopper - so layered and complex and a steal at this price.

A hefty version, carved from a block of bakerrsquo;s chocolate and espresso to reveal extra notes of singed cedar, roasted fig, steeped black currant, licorice root and Black Forest cake. The long, muscular finish still has serious grip to shed and will require patient cellaring. Best from 2015 through 2030.

The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape exhibits a saturated ruby/purple color along with a nose of licorice, blueberries and dark black cherry confiture. Powerful and full-bodied with good acids, freshness and delineation, it is a precise, large-scaled wine th... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. The potentially perfect 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee du Quet is made from a slightly different blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvedre. Its inky saturated purple color is followed by aromas of graphite, espresso, white chocolate, new saddle leather, and oodles of blueberry and blackberry fruit. With a powerful, full-bodied mouthfeel, terrific concentration and purity, good focus and freshness, this massive wine should be given 5ndash;6 years of cellaring and drunk over the following 25+ years.

Opaque core with a deep purple rim. Powerful and sweet aromas of blackberry liqueur, melted licorice, plum, and milk chocolate, plus a touch of black pepper and subtle violet notes. Ripe, opulent, and full-bodied, this is loaded with savory notes of ... Geoffrey Binder. A Proprietary Blend wine from Rhone in France. 2010 Mas de Boislauzon Chateauneuf du Pape 750ml

Boislauzon's Cotes Du Rhone Village is 50 Percent Grenache and 40 Percent Mouvedre in the 2010 vintage with a mix of varietals rounding out the blend. This is one of our favorite Rhone producers, make sure to grab a few bottles while you can.

Bright purple. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry and smoky herbs. Picks up a subtle gamy nuance with air, along with a suave lavender pastille quality. Fine-grained tannins give grip to a sweet, persistent finish, which echoes the smoky not... Stephen Tanzers IWC.
