Martinelli Chardonnay Russian River Valley Woolsey Road 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

"Honeyed tropical fruit, brioche, roasted hazelnut, and floral characteristics are found in the 2006 Chardonnay Zio Tony Ranch along with a voluptuous texture, good acidity, and a subtle touch of new oak. This is the fullest, richest, most intense of Martinelli’s Chardonnays. It should be consumed over the next 3-4 years...93" WA 12/08

The light gold-colored 2006 Chardonnay Woolsey Road (485 cases) offers rich, lemon blossom, and tropical fruit notes intermixed with notions of orange oil, brioche, and subtle background oak. It also possesses good acidity. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
