Martinborough Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Martinborough 2010
Typically our Sauvignon Blanc exhibits perfumed aromas of passionfruit and guava with tropical and vanilla notes on the nose. On the palate the ripe fruit character is beautifully balanced against creamy notes from the barrel fermentation portion creating a harmonious and balanced wine with great length and texture.
A solid sauvignon blanc - crisp, citrus-y, flowery.

This is simply not what springs to mind when we think of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc! Its finty aromas are reminiscent of Pouilly-Fuissé and it's possessed of beautiful Meyer lemon ripeness on the midpalate and salinity on the finish.

Sharp grassy notes with lime and lemon zest on the midpalate. Not overly sharp and without any offensive asparagus notes. Good balance.
