2006 Marquis Phillips Shiraz The 2006 Shiraz was barrel-fermented and aged in predominantly American oak for 12 months. It offers up fragrant aromas of cedar, smoke, tar, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. Hi-C meets Cherry Blow-Pop meets Pixie Stick meets a Juicy Tomato. You get the idea, but rockin' for a laid-back night with pizza.
Full-bodied, fruit forward shiraz with ripe berry flavors - bargain price for such a big wine.

Shiraz doesn't get better than this. Bold, Rich, and chocolaty.
Lots of immediate spice but offers a good deal of complexity on the finish. A great first wine for our weekly tasting group.
