Marquis de la Tour Brut NV
Opens with a bouquet of apple cider. A nice mousse, crispness, and an apple, bready, creamy palate with nuances of citrus and nuts and a bit of astringency leads to a finish which is broader than long. There's a lot of freshly baked bread aromas in this delightful bubbly, along with peach pie and even apricot. This is an intense wine, dry and scouring and the crisp tartness follows through on the finish.
nice nose of apples..great mouthfeel with a nice crisp finish.
This is my go-to sparkling wine for everything from casual sipping to holiday parties. Not sweet and not bitter. Very refreshing.
I opened this and was a little surprised. At first it has an interesting aroma. Upon drinking it, the brut hits you first. It then blooms into a fruity blend. Its very nice if you are looking for a fruity cheaper champagne.
