Food Pairings for Marques de Riscal Rioja Reserva Tempranillo Wine
An excellent classically styled rioja, with beautiful balance and acidity paired with nice black and red fruit. The oak is well integrated. This producer keeps a high level across the board, from "cheap" to super premium and are a good bet if you want to try the different styles of Rioja.

We like this wine. Great nose and splash and fruity. We don't know if it is worth the price.

Cherry-red color with good robe. Spicy, balsamic aromas of great complexity, with notes of ripe dark berries and light toasted nuances. On the palate it is full and tasty, with good structure and rounded, elegant tannins. The finish is long and fresh, with a slight reminder of the fine oak.
Medium body, acid and fruit. Lots of oak and tannin. Vanilla, roses, cherries, herbs. Big wood component adds lushness to bright red fruit. A mild herb note adds complexity. All is contained in a very rich, tannic structure.
Smooth, ripe and polished, with a focused core of cherry, sage, earth and spice, holding its flavors through the finish, where it turns supple and elegant. Drink now.
From a 13.1-acre vineyard planted in 1997, the 2007 Pinot Noir Mills Vineyard was cropped at an absurdly low .84 tons of fruit per acre. This beauty offers up notes of forest floor, raspberries, fresh mushrooms, sweet currants, and meat juices. The provocative, riveting aromatics are followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with sweet tannins, dense, chewy, lush fruit, good acidity, and a 40-second finish. Drink this profound Pinot Noir over the next decade or more.

A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2007 Calera Pinot Noir Mills Vineyard 750ml
Young, tight and tannic, with an earthy edge to the cola, cherry, sage and spice flavors. With breathing it shows more cranberry and spice, but it's still on the tannic side, so try in 1998 to '99.
The 2007 Mills boasts aromas of black cherry, blueberry, and hints of forest floor with a twist. In the mouth it explodes with blackberry jam, dried herbs, and a subtle white pepper spice. A soft tannic backbone carries the richness and creates a long silky finish. Not yet reviewed; 2006 vintage rated 93 points by Wine & Spirits.
