Marques de Casa Concha, is dark ruby red in color with luscious aromas of cherry and blackberries intertwined with cedar and smoke. These notes follow through to the palate. Tremendously concentrated flavors are revealed in firm tannins with a soft, silky texture and a lingering finish. - Winery
The 2010 Marques de Casa Concha Carmenere spends 18 months in French oak barrels of which 35% is new. It has an agreeable chocolate powder scented nose with notes of licorice coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannins, touches of mocha and spice with a dash of cardamom towards the dusty finish. Drink now–2013.
Light gold. Ripe melon and peach aromas, with nuances of candied ginger and honey adding complexity. Juicy, palate-coating pit fruit flavors are given bite by a note of bitter orange pith and pick up spiciness with air. Finishes slightly bitter, with good energy and focus.
This compact yet suave red is marked with silky layers of cassis and wild berry fruit that mingle with well-integrated hints of graphite, tobacco and toasty oak. Drink now through 2018.
An opening of dense black-fruit, spice, violet and toast aromas functions as an invitation to this plump, chunky, well-balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate bears boysenberry, blackberry and cassis flavors, with chocolate and molasses accents. Toasty, warm and rich on the finish. Drink now–2016.
