The name of this wine. Marques de Caceres was lent by D. Vicente Noguera y Espinosa de los Monteros. Today, he has been succeeded by his son D. Juan Noguera Merle, a worthy representative of the Marquisate which was granted in the XVIII century to his ancestor Juan Ambrosio Garcia de Caceres y Montemayor, a Captain of the Royal Armada for war merits.
I must say that the nose I got on this was more vegetal than balsamic, plus lots of pepper, but the wine still appeared youthful and retaining some of the young tempranillo purple colour. The flavour was intense, with concentrated dark fruit and some menthol characters, and pretty high acidity.
