Marqués de Cáceres Tempranillo Blend Rioja Reserva 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

Black cherry tobacco and licorice flavors mingle in this firm red. The tannins are a bit obtrusive but should balance with food. A solid wine with good typicity.

Bodegas Marques de Caceres:
The name of this wine. Marques de Caceres was lent by D. Vicente Noguera y Espinosa de los Monteros. Today, he has been succeeded by his son D. Juan Noguera Merle, a worthy representative of the Marquisate which was granted in the XVIII century to his ancestor Juan Ambrosio Garcia de Caceres y Montemayor, a Captain of the Royal Armada for war merits.

A relative shared this one afternoon, and it has become a favorite. Just a great red, lends itself to many occasions. Mixed fruits, quick finish and satiny.

Very dry... .great going down.... but just a hint of burn at the end.... Paid 15$ for the bottle,.. not worth that much, but if you can find for 10 or under.... good buy.

Minty head..... smooth drinkability and cherry finish. But paid 15$ for the bottle, not sure how it prices out at 8$ on Snooth?

Bright ruby red in colour with a lively bouquet of red fruits. Fresh and fleshy in the mouth with a delicious balance between full fruit and smooth tannins. An ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine.

Deep and dark, with attractive berry aromas. No mulchy, overoaked interference at all; it's a clean wine with a medium-to-full body and lightly buttered berry, cherry and raspberry flavors. A mouthfilling, honest Rioja reserva with texture and a bit... Wine Enthusiast. A Tempranillo wine from Rioja in Spain. 2004 Marques de Caceres Rioja Reserva 750ml

Wine Tasting NotesBright ruby red color. Lively bouquet with notes of red fruit that add a pleasant freshness softened by a discreet touch of vanilla. Deliciously full in the mouth where well integrated, silky tannins highlight the wines fruit. Good length in which the complexity of flavors come through delicately.

Weingut: Bod.
