The name of this wine. Marques de Caceres was lent by D. Vicente Noguera y Espinosa de los Monteros. Today, he has been succeeded by his son D. Juan Noguera Merle, a worthy representative of the Marquisate which was granted in the XVIII century to his ancestor Juan Ambrosio Garcia de Caceres y Montemayor, a Captain of the Royal Armada for war merits.

Nice fruit in this wine with black cherry, berry, and plum flavors. Just a hint of spice with an accent of vanilla. This wine has a smooth mouthfeel but it isn't too big or overdone. Silky tannins give the wine a nice structure. I really enjoyed this wine.
Slight tobacco nose, with blueberries, cedar, and raisin filtering through and continuing on the palate. 4/5 tannins, 3/5 acidity, with a "deep" finish. Very good. Would pair well with any meat.
A little hot on the nose at first but after letting it stand for 20 minutes in the glass it shows an earthy, leathery nose with a touch gaminess. Very smooth on the palate with nice acidity and a good amount of tannin. Tempranillo shines through with a ton of grip and a long, smooth and velvety finish. I had some cheese and crackers with this but I feel it would go wonderfully with wild game. A local liquor store has this for $13 a bottle right now and I think I just may meander back over there tomorrow and get a case of this stuff. Excellent. 4.0 rating.
Costco c. $25 - transformed within a few minutes of opening: sweat, leather, tobacco, pepper and stewed cherries. Within another ten minutes, the cherries had faded into plums and mint. My friend said allspice - it did finish with some heat. But the second day open was not as kind - the magic didn't last for long apparently although the stewed cherry, plum and pepper remained - fortunately I have another bottle.
