Editorial Reviews for Marqués De Cáceres Tempranillo Blend Rioja Crianza
Very fruity on the nose with notes of watermelon, strawberry and raspberry fruit, framed with a hint of cream. Soft and a bit chewy in the mouth, this is a fairly substantial rosé with chewy red fruits that lean toward the wild/black cherry end of the spectrum, flecked with spice and leathery nuances on the back end and through the modest, zesty finish. Plenty of acidity here and a nice hint of tannin helps cleanse the palate. 86pts
Bright, dark ruby colour. Attractive, intense bouquet of raspberries and cherries with vanilla notes and a touch of spice. Nice, refreshingly ripe fruit in the mouth with delicious tannins that confer good body and complexity. Rich and pleasant on tasting, its smooth texture charms the palate with long-lasting flavours. An elegant wine. -The Winery
Very nice sweet flavoured Spanish wine. Goes well with tapas.
Love this wine... To me it is a perfect Rioja...heavy on berries and tannins with a hint of oak and absolutely zero sharpness... It also has a raspberry and coffee finish.. Really just gorgeous!
Tempranillo grape, with a wide range of aromas detectable wines give it a charm in and of itself, with tasting ranging from strawberries, blackcurrants and cherries, to prunes, chocolate and tobacco
Ages well deep ruby red, excellent accompanyment to beef.
Cedar and patchouli nose, "bright" fresh fruit/grape flavors balance acidity well, finishing with cranberry and low-medium tannins. Great with grilled/salty meats, Italian/tomato-based foods also.

Marques de Caceres Rioja Crianza is wonderful expression of this region, plenty of pretty red fruits and warm nutmeg spice rounded out by notes of sweet cigar and vanilla shortbread.
This focused red is subtle but harmonious, with well-integrated flavors of black cherry, toast, herbs and spice layered over fine tannins. Crisp and fresh. Drink now through 2014.
Fragrant with violets and black cherry fruit, this takes time to move beyond its clean lines toward something more emphatically earthy. Air brings a stoniness to the structure, while the wine seems blacker, with the assertive precision of a flamenco dancer’s heel.

A very dry Spanish rioja which tastes of sweet-and-sour cherries, with acids and soft, creamy tannins. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to fried food, grilled vegetables, paella and other rice dishes.
