This opens with rich, slightly soupy aromas that announce ripeness. The palate is full yet crimped by firm tannins, while flavors of creamy vanilla, lactic oak, tomato and plum are forward and finish strong. As a young reserva from a warm vintage should, this improves with airing. Drink from 2014–2018.
